You can install a tune by yourself! With Valley Tuning’s pre-tuned ECU option, you will be able to quickly replace and sync one of our tuned computers to your vehicle in the comfort of your own home. With a few minutes of your time you can completely change the responsiveness of your vehicle, improve your fuel economy, and experience more refined engine dynamics.

- 10mm Socket
- Philips Screwdriver
- Angled Phillips Screwdriver (optional but recommended)
- 1hr – 1.5hrs of time

Got pre-tuned ecu and couldn’t be happier! This has proven to make my tacoma act like a normal truck had this not worked this truck was getting sold.
It holds gears now not shifting all over the place the awful surge under steady throttle is now gone.
I was driving this truck before using sport mode and ect on and it still wasn’t ok. Now I drive it in regular drive setting this ecu tune has made this truck what it should have been from the get go. If you are on the fence about this upgrade go for it you won’t be disappointed.

The process of tuning my truck using this ECU was extremely simple. Once it showed up in the mail, I swapped my original out for the new one, followed the instructions to pair the computer with the truck, and boom it was done. Less than an hour in the garage.
Any questions I had were answered quickly by the staff. Core return was just as smooth as the original ordering.

I ordered the ecu and had it delivered within 4 days. It took me roughly 2hrs for the install but the instructions helped (I wanted to be very careful with my airbag).
Immediately the truck is more responsive. I’m able to drive the thing without the shifting issues or lack of power. This is how these things should have come from the factory!

The speedlimits near me are 75mph+ which makes the Tacoma shift all over the place and get terrible fuel economy. After swapping the computer with the pre-tuned ecu, I can say that these problems are significantly improved.
I ran into an issue during the installation. However, Jeff (the owner) was quick to call me and figure it out. Great service and even better product.

The process of ordering, receiving, and installing the ECU is very straight forward and fast. However, I did wait two days for a software activation. This was due to the supplier not providing the information to Valley Tuning in time. The install could have happened before the ECU arrived, but overall it was sorted out just fine.
The ECU fixed my truck’s issues almost instantly. I have been able to drive it confidently without using ECT mode all the time. Fuel economy is improving gradually as I get used to driving the new vehicle.
